St. Thomas the Apostle Diocese will begin a program for community members with special needs, starting the first week of October, 2015. The program will offer Catechism and communion classes to the participants. This will be the first program of its kind, and will involve licensed technicians who are trained to work with special needs individuals. Classes will be held at Mother Of God Parish in Southfield. The program is open to all those who are mentally or physically challenged and will meet once a week. What better banquet to attend with the Lord than Communion or Catechism teachings? Interested applicants should contact Fr. Piere Konja at 248-356-0565. Space is limited and there will be a small registration fee; so don’t miss this opportunity to get to know Christ’s love intimately. Jesus himself extends a personal invitation to you or any family members you may have!
*He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich
neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.”
- Luke 14:12-13
